August Challenge: What has this challenge shown me? (Day 30)

Honestly, what this challenge taught me can be summed up in a single sentence which popped into my head the moment this card popped out of the deck as I shuffled.

This challenge taught me that when working toward a goal as a group, you can achieve great things.

Community is important. Until I found a tarot community and immersed myself in it, I was just farting along getting nowhere with my attempts to learn. Since I've found others to study alongside, my skill has increased exponentially to the point that I felt confidant enough to open an Etsy shop. Being part of a community all participating in the same challenge as me kept me moving forward, each day, as I questioned if I really wanted to write yet another blog.

Admittedly, I didn't have to put as much effort into this challenge as I did. I could have just posted it on social media, but I really wanted to throw myself into this one. Particularly since I selected a deck to work with that hadn't been getting nearly the attention from me that it should. The biggest reason, however, was that in order to grow my own community, I had to be willing to go that extra mile.

I've been itching to write a blog again for a long time, and having this new outlet was a blessing. I feel like by participating, I did the couch-to-5k of blogging. I've created a habit that I'll now keep.

Anyway, there is only one more day left. Tomorrow will be a month in review spread. If anyone is interested in me doing this spread for them as well, comment below!
